Julie Warner, born February 9, 1965 in New York, was born and raised in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. When Julie was 12 years old, she attended the exclusive Dalton School, where an agent urged her to audition for a role in the 1978 film Pretty Baby. Although she didn’t get the part, Julie Warner had her first taste of acting in a cameo on the soap opera “Guiding Light.” She then attended Brown University and graduated with a theater arts degree in 1987. She then packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time acting career.

After making her first major role on the HBO special “Andrew Dice Clay: The Diceman Cometh,” Julie Warner was seen on small roles in the small screen throughout the late 1980s in TV shows such as on “21 Jump Street,” “The Outsiders,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and the made-for-TV film “Stolen: One Husband.” In the early 1990s, Julie Warner had her breakthrough roles in the movies “Flatliners,” “Doc Hollywood,” “Mr. Saturday Night” and “Tommy Boy.” In 1995, Julie Warner married writer-director Jonathan Prince and won a regular spot on the NBC sitcom “Pride & Joy.” She then appeared on the films “White Lies” and “Wedding Bell Blues” a year later.

In 1997, Julie Warner gave birth to a son named Jackson Roy Prince. She took a quick break from the limelight, but soon starred in the 1998 made-for-TV film “Mr. Murder” and landed a three-part guest role in “Party of Five” and became a series regular on “Family Law” from 1999 to 2001. Julie Warner continued to appear on the small screen from 2001 to 2009, appearing on made-for-TV films “Baseball Wives,” “A Screwball Homicide,” “Passion’s Web,” “Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness” and “Our First Christmas” as well as TV series such as “Threat Matrix,” “Scrubs,” “Hidden Howie: The Private Life of a Public Nuisance,” “Just Legal,” “House M.D.,” “Nip/Tuck” and “True Jackson, VP.”
