Julie Warner began a career in the entertainment industry in the late 1980s. At age 12, while studying at the exclusive Dalton School, an agent urged Julie Warner to audition for the 1978 movie “Pretty Baby.” Although she didn’t win the part, it led to a two-day role on the long-running soap “The Guiding Light.” When she moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to pursue a full-time acting career, she landed her first major TV role on the HBO special “Andrew Dice Clay: The Diceman Cometh.” From then on, Julie Warner received guest roles on “21 Jump Street,” “The Outsiders,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and the made-for-TV film “Stolen: One Husband.”

In 1990, bigger roles started to arrive and Julie Warner appeared on various feature films, such as “Flatliners,” the romantic comedy “Doc Hollywood” and “Mr. Saturday Night.” From 1993 to 1995, Julie Warner was seen on the movies “Indian Summer,” “The Puppet Masters” and “Tommy Boy.” In 1995, she became a series regular on the NBC sitcom “Pride & Joy.” The following year, Julie Warner appeared in the film “White Lies” and “Wedding Bell Blues.” After starring in the made-for-TV film “Mr. Murder” in 1998, she had a three-episode guest role in the drama series “Party of Five.”

Julie Warner then had a quick time off to get married and also gave birth to a son. When she returned, Warner had a regular spot on the CBS TV series “Family Law” in 1999 until 2001. Julie Warner continued to appear on the small screen. In 2002 and 2003, she starred in the made-for-TV films “Baseball Wives” and “A Screwball Homicide.” Julie Warner then guest-starred on several shows, including “Threat Matrix,” “Scrubs,” “Hidden Howie: The Private Life of a Public Nuisance,” “Just Legal,” and “House M.D.” In 2003, she joined the cast of “Nip/Tuck” and played Megan O’Hara in several episodes throughout 2006.

In 2006, Julie Warner appeared in the movie “Stick It,” followed by the made-for-TV films “Passion’s Web” and “Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness” in 2007. After starring in the 2008 feature film “Natalie Penning,” Julie Warner went back to TV and appeared in the 2008 Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Our First Christmas.” Her latest work is a guest role in “True Jackson, VP” and a starring role in the sci-fi movie “Radio Free Albemuth.”

Aside from Warner’s growing portfolio in movies and TV shows, Julie Warner also had a one-time modeling gig for Alpo dog food during the early years of her career.
